This restaurant has a cozy and comforting vibe to it. It's a little spot on Jean talon.. they have a variety of selections for food.. they offer a lunch special at 10$ with a lot of options.. portions are filling and the food tasted good.. the staff is friendly.. they also offer delivery..

The burger is served on a brioche bun (always a plus), the steak sub was scrumptious (loads of meat + bread was tasty) & the wings were crispy on the outside/juicy on the inside, on account of all three of the people present at our table. The food is delicious and the service will keep you coming back. They've been in business this long because they know what it takes to be a cut above a normal casse-croûte.

AMAZING restaurant and environment. Not only was the food amazing, the staff were fast, efficient, and kind. My waitress, Sia was an absolute DELIGHT! She was professional, courteous, and always made us crack a smile and laugh. When you go out to eat, you dont go out for the amazing food, you go out for the service. Luckily, MJT has both. 10/10 recommendation.

I just wanted to say that the service at this place was the best I've experienced in a while! I ordered a delivery and, when it arrived, there were some problems: the onion rings were missing and the pita ordered without cheese came with cheese. I was expecting the usual response of being told, 'It's not our problem' or 'We can refund you a small amount', but the person I spoke to on the phone was really nice! They said they would remake the onion rings and the pita and deliver them again. About 45 minutes later (I was told they were in a rush, so it might take a little longer for my food to arrive), someone who I think was either the owner or an employee of the restaurant knocked on my door. They apologized for the mistakes and said that, as an apology for the wait, they had made two pitas as a gift to thank me for my patience. It was easily the best service I have received in a long time. They really care about their customers. Thank you again!

I've been here a million times since I've been living in the 'ex. It had always been a reliable plan B for whenever I needed a late night dose of tzaziki and poutine. Since covid they're no longer open 24/7. Which is a shame , and the portions seem smaller and the prices have gone up steeply. I get it I get it... such are the times. I don't come here too often anymore but I keep my fond memories of those late night eats at miss JT. Alaric recommends

EDIT#2: The owner called today from his personal cell phone to apologize for what happened. He explained that he fixed the pricing online so that we would no longer have discrepancy issues. He then continued to offer us a free pizza for the trouble. I can respect a person who stands up and takes responsibility. So dinner is covered tonight, and I can honestly say we'll be ordering once again from Miss Jean Talon!!!! Thank you for the free pizza . EDIT: The management no longer wishes to honor their online pricing. They now charge five dollars on top of the pricing they have online. This is not about the 5 bucks. This is purely about principle. If you want to charge more, then fix your online pricing!! This used to be my go to for ordering but after the undocumented increase we had to pay in order to receive our food it will be our last. If they treat their frequent customers like this, I would hate to see how they treat others. Unfortunately, my review drops to one star and that's honestly because I am unable to give them ZERO!! Never again! Miss JT is an amazing Hotspot with great food. I've had many different menu items and have never been disappointed. The only thing....is their menu items are priced at a certain total and then when the driver gets here the total is $5 more than advertised. They always honor the web price but we have to go through the whole ordeal of proving price every time we order. All in all Amazing Food! A definite try for all!!
